The NMEA 2008 conference hotel is the Savannah Marriott Riverfront, located on the Historic Riverfront connected to world-famous River Street via the Riverwalk. River Street offers over 68 unique shops, taverns, and restaurants. The Savannah Marriott Riverfront is also within easy walking distance of the Historic District where guests can enjoy the beautiful squares, historic house museums, art galleries and antique shops. Tybee Island is a 15 minute drive from historic downtown Savannah.

The online registration window has the hotel’s code for NMEA 2008 embedded in order to provide the discounted conference rate of $149/night. This is the first time the annual NMEA conference will be hosted at a single hotel. All sessions will be in the air-conditioned Savannah Marriott Riverfront, with the exceptions of the Skidaway Island Soiree, and field trip day. Although lodging arrangements will be different than those of previous NMEA conferences,the Conference Committee is confident that this arrangement will streamline the conference schedule and facilitate attendee’s networking opportunities. Breakfast, lunch, and special events will be included in Full Conference Registration. Late Registration does not include meals or special events. Hotel reservations are the responsibility of individuals attending the conference.

Hotel rates of $149/night (double occupancy) have been locked in at 2006 prices. For a small additional fee up to 4 individuals can share a room.
