Each conference participant must submit a separate registration form. Spouses, guests and children do not need to submit a registration form; however, you will be asked to provide their names.
All conference participants must be NMEA members. If you are not a member when you register for the conference, your non-member registration fee includes NMEA membership for one year.
Spouses, guests and children are not allowed to attend general and concurrent sessions without being registered to attend the conference. Spouses, guests and children are allowed to attend evening events and field trips if tickets are purchased at the time of conference participant registration. It is not recommended for young children to attend evening events as these events will be intended for adults. Educators from Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies will be providing child care services during the auction on Wednesday, July 21 from 6pm - 11pm. This service is available first come, first served and is only available for potty trained children ages 3 - 11. Many field trips do have minimum age requirements so young children may not be able to participate.
A vegetarian option will be available for lunch and dinner meals. Please be sure to check the vegetarian option on the registration form.
Field Trips are optional and are scheduled for Friday, July 23. Descriptions and fees are available on the Field Trips section of the conference website.
The evening event at Dixie Stampede is optional and is scheduled for Friday, July 23. If you plan to attend, please be sure to check the option on the registration form.
Each year, NMEA attempts to match up first-time conference attendees with seasoned conference participants. The Buddy Breakfast is scheduled for Tuesday, July 20. This will give you the opportunity to meet your buddy and ask questions. If you would like to be or have a buddy, please be sure to check the option on the registration form.
All attendees will receive an eco-friendly cup to be used at the water stations in the Convention Center. We are asking all conference participants to bring a tote for the tote bag swap at NMEA Central.
